A friend can come in any shape or form,
it's a person, pet, or even a special stuffed animal.
They're there for you,
even when they're not physically there.

It's a shoulder to lean on,
when you can't stand on up alone.
It's a hand to hold,
when you have trouble on your own.

That dry tissue,
which tries your watery tears.
When you suffer a dissapointment,
they're there to encourage you to try again.

An ear to listen,
when you have a story to tell.
That pat on the back,
for a job well done.

That locked chest,
that keeps all your secrets safe.
Through good and bad,
they're there to hold you close.

They're your guardian angel watching over you,
even while you sleep.
They're your personal body-guard,
who protects you from other's hate.

Going through life without a friend,
you will never be whole.
For a friend is your other half,
that completes your soul.

This is such a wonderful poem. I wrote it in math class today and after a few gramatical changes, I thought it was perfect to post on here.

Great poem describing a friend!!! Friend are truly amazing (no matter what shape, size or form they come in)

I was trying to make a poem for everyone out there. Everyone has a friend, and it doesn't nessiscarily have to be a person. And once you find that one special friend, you'll never be the same agian.
