I am an angel sent from up above,
but you dont know that.
I dont act like a normal person
So you wouldnt think twice about it.
I try to stay undercover
So no one knows,
but It sometimes doesnt work like that.
You can see past my eyes,
and know something isnt right.
You can see all the hurt and the pain that I have been through.
You dont understand, so dont tell me you do.
I am just a lost angel trying to get back into heaven
trying to get my halo back.
I am just living on borrowed time.
Time is a key thing, I need to get back quick
or I am stuck here.
I love many people here,
and they will miss me when I go,
I am not saying I don't love it here,
but I dont belong here.
Let me into your heart,
and in return,
I will always watch over you from up above,
and protect you like I should.
When ever you need a shoulder to cry on,
I will be the first angel form heaven to fly down,
and wipe your sad tears away and make them happy again.
I cannot touch what isnt mine to touch,
only give you my helpfull words, to get you back on your feet.
You must have faith in my word,
or I shall not come.
Do you trust me?
If you do, just call out my name.
I will always come when you call.
I am just an angel in a costume

I love this one! This part especially! Thanks for the read!

I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather, not screaming, terrified, like his passengers.

Lisa-
I really enjoyed this one.  Interesting perspective.
Very well done.
