Fragile heart
Been torn apart
By the rabid wolves
That prowl
The moors at night
High in a tower
I sit in a corner
And cower
When I hear
Their howls echoing
Through these chamber walls
Where is he
My Knight in Shining armour
Many times
I've about given up
And close
To throwing my soul
Out the window
Almost lost my sanity
Feeding off love's vanity
Just to have
The slightest glimpse
Of hope and diginity
And a taste of
Chivalry...

OMG Kris, I think this is definintly my favorite poem of yours. I'm still waiting on my Knight in shining armor....because Chivalry is dead....I'm so happy I read this....This is in the Library....
