Plagued by her broken dreams
She sleeps no more at night
constantly overthinking things
Wishing she'd done them right
Haunted by her broken vows
She can't control her tears
Happiness she wont allow
Lost in a world of fears
Pressure weighing down on her
From all the ones she loves
her lifes just become a blur
just wants to rise above
Compromising with her heart
She's constantly sinking
her lifes being torn apart
from the "what ifs" shes thinking
Chasing non exsistant joy
her hopes she does exhaust
a thriving life she did destroy
a beautiful soul she lost
Now she lives in isolation
and no one can understand
thats she sinking into desperation
with each of their demands

Thanks adam, I've learned a lot from reading your poetry lately.  And its very comforting to know that my friends on pip are always here for when I need them.  Thanks for your response, and for helping with the inspiration....

i can relate to this SO very much its uncanny...library piece

Zombie

Torn are her limbs
By quiet hands that
Tug life(color) out of her.
Gnawing edges round
Into a broken(satisfying)
Shadow

This was a great poem, maybe one of your best.  I think it deserves a bump (but some people dont like it much when you bump your own poems).  I cant wait to see more!

Hey...this was very Adam-ish! (Like pointed out before) Hmmm...well done! I like Adam's style---and you add your own flavour to it! It's like hotdogs---with spice!!!

I know this so well, and I know a lot of other people do too. Very well done. This was something I really felt.
