i can't stop hiding

this is a repost from one of my older names litle_krazy_poet. i just had to say agian thank you all thanks Ron, all the monitors, and every body that has ever replide to my poems.

i look at the world around me,
they see me not, the ones passing by.
Their minds only going on instinct,
there is not enough time to here my cry!

The sky a deep gray,
the ground cracked and dry.
There seems to be an order,
the only thing i can think to say is why!

Why won't these people listen?
Why won't they stop to look?
Why are their minds set on only on thing?
A different path is what i took!

To walk through life with my mind open,
taking it all in,
and wiring it down in poetry,
not to hide it for myself within.

just showing my town isn't enough
so i post it up for the world to see,
so people can read my stuff
and all thanks to passions in poetry!!

Great writing, Matt.

It's so nice that you've found a place like PIP that you feel comfortable enough to express your thoughts. Places like this are quite rare.

Awesome poem!! Unfortunately the world doesnt stop to hear our cries and probably never will...great job! Im glad you decided to repost this!
