~Something I just wrote on the spot...

I feel like I've been blindsided by the hands who have lifted me from time & time again
I forgot the words of our oath
Don't you fully understand,
I am the only person who reads right through you

Nobody dragged time above their heads
But yet we bend till seasons change
And we're always silent

I have reasons not to talk
And you have reasons to ignore
But every second day,
Who's there when you awake?
My shoulder has a chip,
But it's always home for your head

And yet those goggles you have on,
Are always fogged up
Because the one who you really need,
Has always been me
