I've been reading all of your poetry, and not sharing any of mine with you. For Valentine's Day, I thought I'd share one of my poems with you all. Now if only cupid would find me someone to read this to.... I hope you all enjoy as much as I've enjoyed reading your works. ____________________________________________________ Looking Into My Eyes Looking into my eyes..., What do you see? Do you see the love from me to you? Looking into my eyes... Your gateway to my world, Do you see many dreams waiting to be unfurled? Looking into my eyes... Your window to my soul Do you see the bars taking their toll? Looking into my eyes... Do you see how much I care? Loving every minute you are there. Looking into your eyes... What do I see? I see a man yearning to be free. Looking into your eyes... My gateway to your world, I see a man with a heart beautiful as a pearl. Looking into your eyes... Do I see how much you care? For if you didn't you wouldn't be there. Look into our eyes... What do you see? The love we share from him to me. Security in knowing our love will set us free.
