Do you remember When you told me that you loved me When I held you close, looked into your eyes And held you close till sun did rise Do you? Do you remember When you met me at the party You saw me from across the room Who would've know we'd be together soon Do you? Do you remember When you took me home I was way to drunk to drive or walk You put my head on your lap into my ear you did softly talk Do you? Do you remember How you were the only one who cared My so called friends just forgot and laughed You picked me up, smiled walked me past Do you? Do you remember When you helped me stumble to your car You walked me past your laughing friends and out the door Yet still you help me stumble cross the yard Do you? Do you remember How you helped me to your bed Layed my head onto you lap and still you smiled You didnt take advantage of me did nothing wild Do you? Do you remeber? As you sat as hours passed You didnt leave, you stroked my hair You friends came to laugh at us and you didnt care Do you? I did "I never die, I can never die, but death is bitch" |

Wow! I like this poem alot! It definatly shows your feelings for the person it is written about. Keep up the good Work! After Love comes Pain, then Love, Then Pain, then Love, then Pain..... does anyone else see a pattern here? Oh well, can't say it's not worth it. |

I always seem to be the one to remember all the special events as well. Lately I've stopped reminding people of them as a lot of people say I'm living in the past or obsessing. Anyways this is a great poem and I thank you for sharing. Dawn |

Its a brilliant heartfelt poem. I know where your comming from i was in a very serious relationship with the man i still love and i will always remember the day we met, our first date, first kiss etc every detail and because he didnt remember the things i did i thought he didnt care as much as i did. I realised he did, that he was just a different person, i realised to late. |
