so happy i found someone to talk too
someone who understood my pain inside and out
showed me it wasn't so scary
have someone who wasn't frightened by my pain
making me work it out on my own
when what i wanted so deperatly
was for someone to understand
have someone else be the strong one
not always be the person to fix everyone else
but just understand me
it was so scary and exciting
to have someone that had a path simialr to yours
and then to meet another
to find your not so alone at all
so happy i met you so happy
you understood

Sleepymoongirl,

I really enjoyed this poem. I know the feeling well of thinking you are the only one with your frustrations, etc and then the joy of finding a friend or loved one that loves you for you and understands you.
