When we were young you never let me play I was always to little "I always got my way" Your friends came over never let me take part you called me names broke my little heart "it will get better" my parents would say when I went to them crying day after day But as I got older you grew up too and years passed for me and for you While you went to dances I got my first 2-wheel bike And while I lost my teeth you stayed out all night When you went to college and we were estranged I thought you would realize how much I did change But I was always the sister much smaller and naïve I tried to be you everyday But my feelings you did deceive What was it that I did so wrong that made you not trust me I’m not a little girl anymore why can’t you just see I won’t tell mom and dad now and I really need a role model and I really have grown up I’m not fed from a bottle I’m fifteen now and need your help a big brother for protection but you won’t even talk to me I’m tired of neglection So you go on pip say how you feel don’t come to me I’d help you deal I just want to be you It’s my only wish It’s why I always copy you and you I hate to miss Would it be so much to say That you loved your little sister and maybe when you are away that you really do miss her I love you my brother I wish you could see that I need you to live and I hope you need me I was drowning in my own tears, until you threw me a life preserver |

Wow...i can only imagine what my younger sister would say if she wrote poems on this site...it made me think a lot about mine and her relationship...i hope your brother reads this and realizes how lucky he is to have you BoOsH bOoSh nApoLE |
