What happened to us, why did you leave?
What went wrong, why didn’t I see…?
I should of known you didn’t love me.
I tried so hard to have you in my life
And so easily I let you slip away.
What went wrong, why didn’t you stay?
At first it was all right
I thought I could make it with out you
But now for some odd reason
I miss everything about you
Why didn’t you tell me you were leavin’
I hate that I miss you.
It’s the worst at night lyin’ alone
No one to hold me tight, not hearing your voice
on the other end of the phone
I never cried over a man before and that is true.
BUT, I can’t count all the time I’ve cried over you.
I wish you would come back into my life
Having you here made everything right

I liked that part because i seem to feel that way a lot...everyone always wants what they cant have and never truly cherishes what they do...I liked this a lot

your poem really reminds me of what i felt when i broke it off wit my ex, we were together for 2 years and then he left and i thought i was about to die, at times i think i may have in a sense. i feel your hurt but don't worry it will get better some one much better will come along i learned that by myself, good poem it sounds like alot of what i've written, keep it up.
