but don't you know what its doing to me

I know you've been practising for years
your the best, the champion
but please don't leave me.
Selfish? Am I really?
not wanting to lose you to a game,
I found you
now I won't let you go.
And if selfish is being a crime,
then I stand convicted,
by all accounts.

No matter what, we are all selfish sometimes. If we werent, then we would all be a bunch of pushovers! Great poem!

We have to be selfish one time or another. Not always seeming to be selfish, often just not wanting to be hurt. Good piece.

Great job here Kim.....sounds tough but you can get through it. I enjoyed this poem.
