~ The Force of You ~

I don't know what it is
about you
that attracts me so deeply
perhaps it is your eyes
that speak right to my
heart
or your warm gentle touch
that sends butterflies to
my soul
perhaps it is the melody
of your innocent and
contagious laughter
that brings me to
smile
whatever it is
you make me feel weak, and
vulnerable
an overwhelming and uncontrollable
force that is
uncomfortable, yet
compelling, captivating
drawing me ever so closer;
and whenever you are near
I lose grasp of wrong and right
and get completely lost in
you
I know I should
let go,
move on...
but I can't
and I don't know whether what's keeping me here
is my own foolish stubbornness
or
fate.

Ahh, this was beautiful! Very romantic, and even inspired me a bit!
