Dedicated to: Carl McLeod 1-12-34 to 1-16-02 Rest in Peace --------------------------------- A few shed tears, for the man of 68 years, a father, husband, brother, man, in the Depression, life began. A man in service of his country, a man who, family first, loved America, plants, cactus, a man, who always knew how to make his two daughters feel, like millionaires. A man who always knew how to laugh, and to make others, do the same, a man who loved everything, everyone he sees. A man, who as a father, husband, we were unworthy. A man, who served his country, 28 years, 24 Coast Guard, 4 Navy. A man, who was humble, yet at the same time, great. ~*~It is said that laughter is the shortest distance between two people...~*~ |

...I'm speechless... great words of gratitude... I was very touched by this poem. He'd be proud. "You do what you do, you say what you say, you try to be everything to everyone... come on now, do that stupid dance for me" -Everclear |
