Misery Leads to words/
without words it all blurs.

We feel supreme joy/
we have no need to be coy.

The ups and the downs/
we're free to be like the clonws.

We share of the scars/
we dream to the likes of Mars.

Deeper we feel the need/
be genuine, we ask - the poet's creed.

Share in the beauty of words/
we mingle in the ballroom of all nouns and verbs.

Through the verses we rise/
but not so high as to not hear the cries.

We are poets without remorse/
accept if you wish/set another course.

Be genuine/be genuine;
live the poet's creed.

Is by far my favourite line, what did I get out of this? Total inspiration!! that's all I can say..and it brought a smile to this face...

The beauty of poetry is that anyone can do it. It's everywhere... and there's always some kind of truth in it all.. because poetry is genuine. (as you have said) Thank you for posting this. I really enjoyed reading it.
