Crying Why is it that I’ve felt this way for so long? So confused, empty, and torn. I ask myself this question everyday But can anyone answer it? Everyday that passes, no one answers And my heart gets torn bit by bit. As the internal sobs get harder and harder to hold back I begin to wonder why the sky above me is turning black And now I see it’s because of my emotions I hold in so well that my body refuses to let out. I feel like I am being walked on Or trapped in a room The walls are closing in… I can’t breathe Everywhere I turn there are endless amounts of wall All I can do now is cry Oh my God… There is no way out! I want to tell you a friendship is not one sided There are two people’s feelings at stake I don’t know if you know exactly how much pain you have caused me Next to you I just feel worthless, like nothing else matters except you As I write this I feel my tears streaming down my face I feel this poem is for you who I called “my best friend” I used to say those words with such meaning and grace You see that’s why I am crying inside and out I thought I could beat the odds and hide my pain I thought you and I both already knew what friendship was about “Friends until the end” is what we used to say Now, I know this will be hard for you When I say this it is all coming from the heart and is very true I know if I don’t leave now my heart will crumble even more The end is very near Closer than you might think And now I say good-bye I know you want me to look back But if I do I will cry Then I’ll want to come running back like I always do So please try to understand that I can no longer be your friend. |

This is very sad... You seemed to have realy poured yourself into this. That always makes for good, emotional poetry I'm sorry you're going through a rough time. I hope things only get better for you --Marie I wish your fingers could touch all I can't say... no one should ever feel this alone. |
