I never knew how hard this would be
I always thought it would be so easy.
Maybe it’s because you live far from me.
So I don’t see you often enough.
In London, where we first met,
It was the ideal place for love.
And on you my heart was set.
The campsite was so beautiful.
And I loved every minute there.
It helped that you were by my side,
And I lost all troubles and cares.
We flirted a lot with each other,
Laughed, talked, joked around.
Until came along another.
Ok, she was pretty and nice too.
And I figured you loved her more.
From that time on-my heart was blue.
When it was time for me to go home.
You never came to say goodbye.
Then my heart turned to stone.
I’m back in my house now.
And all I think of is you.
I wish you were here with me now.
So you can know how I feel.
Then I spoke to you online,
The conversation was great.
And my heart started to feel fine.
Then you said it-I love you.
You took me by surprise
But I knew you meant it too.
We said we’d wait and see,
Wait until I next came down.
Until then we are free.
And that fact makes me frown.
I know that it’s fair.
I can’t expect you to wait.
But I want to be with you now.
I don’t want to leave it with fate.
If I came down, to visit you
With all the hope in my heart
And then found out you were taken
And that I was right back to the start.
My heart just couldn’t take it.
I know it’d break in two.
So I wrote this to say I Love You
And I hope you love me too.
So I'm going to wait until next time.
I'm not going to date arouund.
I just pray when I meet you,
That you'll still be mine.

awwwwwwwwwww! this makes me cry cus in april i am going to see a "friend" and hope he is not taken we like each other very much. i just hope when i see him he is not taken.

wow I love that..I am sorry that he is taken..just wait..let time take its course...water over matter!
I am going away this summer I might stay in MA..I donno how my b/f will take it..I just hope we remain b/f g/f till I can return..

Such a tough situation...but distance does make the heart grow fonder they say...i hope you two do remain bf and gf as well

Awww this was sooooo sweet!! I love the way you just totally said everything you feel about this person!! Distance is one of the worst things to be between two people that love eachother, and I really hope that it all ends up well for the both of you. Great job!!
