Through life I have made choices, And had to sacrifice so much but why? The memories cause me so much pain, Which brings tears to my eyes. I thought life would always be good, But I was so wrong. What happened to all the good friends I had, Now most of them are gone. No matter how much I try these days, I can't be happy which makes me mad. And even when I'm having a good day, Something always seems to make me sad. People tell me I should look forward to the future, But I don't have anything to look forward too. I live my life in the past, So I don't know what I'm supposed to do. My life really isn't that bad I know that, But my life is still full of so much sorrow. I just have to keep telling myself I'm ok, And stop looking at yesterday and start looking forward to tomorrow. Because of my choices I've sacrificed so much, Some of which have made me almost go insain. But I have to stay strong, And hope one day I will have no more pain! excellent poem! sometimes its hard not to live in the past and want to go back and re-do so many things and make new choices....i hope to read more of your stuff soon, very nice job. |

Oh wow.... what a great piece of work! I loved it! No matter how much I try these days, I can't be happy which makes me mad.
