Sometimes I think what’s it like to walk?
Is it hard to go to a public school?
Is it fun having so many friends?

Will ever get to see past my wheelchair?
To see the real world
I want to walk on my own
See the world like any other person

I want to see what’s it like to be in a clique
I want to see how much fun it is so have guys come after you
I want to see movies or go to a basketball game
But will you ever give me that chance in life?

I’ve forgiven you a million times
And you ignore me
I want to be a normal teen-ager
Not a physical challenged person

You have to believe in me
I want to show you my world
How scared I am at times
How fun I am at times
How sad I am when you go out.

But will my wish ever come true
Or am I just dreaming?
As always my dreams never come true
One day I’ll show the world “me”
But for now I’ll hide “me”
Until the day comes that I can tell someone about “me”

Another great piece. If we didn't have obstacles to make us appreciate life, where would we be? Bored stiff that's where. You seem like such a strong person to be able to cope with so many things. I envy you.
