Lord,
I've cone to write you again
Doing muck better, cut out most the sin
Been acting much more civil lately
So I can give no man a reason to hate me
I must love all man like my brother
Just as I do my sister, my father, and my mother
Some treat me right but most treat me wrong
But I must look beyond that and carry on
Because we're all created by you lord
And we'll only be rated by you lord
If I give in to hate, I'll have let you down
When you look at my life I want you to smile instead of frown
I am only human father and you have made us imperfect
But if I follow the path as close as I can I know it will be worth it
I want you to be proud of me
And I will try all that I know
Cause I crave to stand at your side
When it is my turn to go
The situations you put me in
And the chance that I have to sin
Will only make me a better person in the end
I used to think my problems were punishment
But I have figured out what you meant
They are just lessons I must be taught
They give me answers that I've sought
Where I like it or not
You show me both sides, and then I choose my path
If I choose correctly, I shall escape your wrath
I could be scared, but you are not to be feared
You are to be loved, praised, and revered
And when my soul has risen
I'll know I've been forgiven
But you'll keep me here until my work is done
And I am proud to do it because I am you son

I love how you wrote this poem to god...i think that was very unique..i enjoyed this a lot...very talented piece

very pleasant prayer...i found this piece of writing quite inspring...a differntpoint of veiw from all the negativity i see even from me...thanks for sharing.
