My eyes are drawn From color to gray Words fade long As they trees sway The needles sway aside Lolling to and fro They pitch: the tree denied Fall to the ground below Rain starts to freeze Then turn to sleet Sigh away the breeze True love we meet In an ice palace Our cabin in the pine Our love over zealous Hold your heart to mine Think what you will of this, I love it No angels in heaven nor demons below the sea, could ever dissever my soul from the soul of the beautiful Annabel Lee |
