In a Dream

The day I figure out what’s in a dream is the day the world has no
more challenges for me to conquer.

I dream that someday the man that I am bound to fall in love with
shows up at my doorstep.

I dream that the day I meet him he’ll be right in front of me, I won’t
realize it and let him walk right out of my life.

In a dream I pray that it won’t happen.

I wonder if we can control what we dream?

My destiny is easy to control, but what else is?

Maybe I’ll never know...

Ah, things that many of us ponder....life is so unpredictable. Sometimes it would be easier if it was predictable. Nicely written, I liked the questions and thoughts posed here. Keep up the writing!

If we were able to dream up everything we wanted life would be not as intresting or enjoyable. It would be like writing a book and then acting the whole thing out just like you are supposed to. Just like Alwye said its unpredictable. But it would be intresting to know what lies ahead.

If we knew these things in life, where would spontaneity come from?

I thought that was interesting...dreams arent meant to ever be fully figured out i dont think..thats why they are so wonderful..good job

This is a well written poem. Though, I think dreams are something that aren't meant to dissected. They aren't meant to make sense.
