"Perfect Man" © 2002 Brian Eggertsen, All Rights Reserved Verse 1: I've been listening to your troubles for so long now. That I now exactly how to ease all your pain. I'll do everything in my power to to help you. And I will still be here if the storm goes insane. I am your blanket so wrap yourself within me,. Girl please let me be the hero of your story... Chorus: (I'd be the perfect man), I'd be the perfect man. (I'd help you understand), I'd help you understand. That life, is more then win or lose, Life, is more then singing the blues. Let me stop your closing curtains, Let me carry all your burdens. Let me be who I really am, Let me be, the perfect man. Verse 2: I will not be your average boring gentleman. Who will only speak a word if spoken to. I wanna make you smile I wanna make you laugh. Empty the night for romance and split it in two. So please let me unwrap you and give you to me. liked these lines tons: "I am your blanket so wrap yourself within me,. Girl please let me be the hero of your story..." good song. makes me think of a slow country song without the twang “A single choice can build destinies,or destroy them.” |
