Wishing You Were Here

As I lay alone at night,
I dream of the day that you will be here,
to hold me in your arms,
when I am afraid and lonely.
Every night I pray that someday
you will come to me,
and love me the way that I love you.
My hopes, my dreams, my fantasies,
wishing that you were here.

This is a very sweet and sentimental poem. You packed a lot of power into it's short length. I really enjoyed this, and have missed your writing! I can't wait to read more again
