Well, this poem reflects...what---what I dream about. What I want in life...and breifly discusses why it's so had for me to make dreams... Dreams of a Small Boy- I dream of a loving family, One that I could come home to... One to play and laugh with... One that I could call my very own... I dream of a father, One who'd take me on fishing trips... One whom I could talk to about anything... One that I could call my very own... I dream of a girlfriend, One who'd like me for who I am... One who I could take out on dates... One that I could call my very own... I dream of a best friend, One who I could trust... One who would help me out in times of doubt... One that I could call my very own... I dream of happiness, Happiness that comes in infinite ammounts... Happiness that always leaves a smile on my face. Happines...that I could call my very own. I dream of a small boy, One that's stricken with fear when his mother gets angry... One that has no father, family, best friend or happiness... A small boy...who just wants to be loved... "If I could count every thought that I think of her, there'd be more than the sands on the shore!" |

awwww!! i love this poem, it's full of so much emotion. i feel for you, i really do and i send my love. as i was reading this, i thought about all the little things that i complain about. then i realized that some people wish they had the life that i had. i guess i never realized that there are a lot of people who live "rougher" lives that me. hang in there, your happiness will soon come. "Whatever you are doing, love yourslef for doing it. |

oh heeey....  ....this is so sad kiddo...you know those dreams are achievable...well some of them at least. you KNOW im here for you. i loved the poem heaps alex..i love the repetition and the way you held the format all the way through and concluded it differently. i thought that that was a very nice touch....keep them coming little one...  |

I know laying my feelings out is dangerous...but---I...I'm sick of hiding. I'm sick of hiding form everybody...I want to show everything I have! And if I'm malisciously beaten...then so be it. Dreams...inconsistent things. When posessed by a child, indeed, they are full of hope. A touching poem. Don't be afraid to share with us, we are all here for you, even if we are strangers.
