Completely lost and bewildered,
unsure of my way.
What am I to do?
Just sit and make way -
For those that know
what exactly it is
They’re here to do,
they’re reason for living,
they’re lust for life.
Am I to sit and make waste?
I want more!
A man wanting a purpose -
a purpose for life -
One who doesn’t want life
so prim and so proper!
Mid-class it may be!
but surely what of it?
What’s a man to do in that
that class of mid-ness!
The treacherous unsure
of this and of that.
I want more than a life -
a life set in stone.
I was created,
created for more then this!
Please! Just give me a purpose,
a purpose for living!

There was a time in my life that what you said that i put in quotations was all i thought about...you'll find your place soon enough...we all have a place...::hugs::...but u always have a place here for you and your beautiful poetry

This shows a desire very well, I think it conveys that sense. I am left thinking about who you are writing to, yourself maybe? Other people? A greater being? I dont even have to know because the poem works well, so nice job on it

Ahh.. Yes, the ever wanting of a "reason". We all want reasons for living, and what our purpose may be. How about this one? How about we CREATE a reason. We need to figure out what we want. And tell people that get in the way of that to kiss our arse.
