From love I came unto the world, a love That once was call'd a wond'rous, fast escape But now is known to be no more than rape Of all that should be given the name of love. The foolish man walk'd up toward his dove, Pull'd out his trump and then began the tape Of words again, his love's mouth agape, "Relax. It feels so good, my morning dove!" And so, the foolish woman bit the fruit And slowly watched the tree of love grow dead. The points of love. Ha! The mind went mute And so did love as time wore on ahead. And now I stand upon the shores of distant life, Knowing, wond'ring what will be my future wife... "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |

Hmmm...interesting. Kind of... abstract and out-there. Not boring in the least. Divorce is a terrible thing, but in my opinion, if you're unhappy together, you're better off apart. Jenn "I want love on my own terms; after everything I've ever learned. Me, I carry too much baggage..." |
