MY 100'th POST! FINALLY! lol Okay. It's the summer, and I do like nothing during the summer. Very few of my friends even talk to me during the summer or anything... So that's what this is about.  BORING SUMMER I just sit on my computer Watching music videos on CMT Lila McCann seems to get cuter I continue to live carefree Nobody ever gives me a call No, I don't think my phone will ring I just converse wih a wall As Toby Keith continues to sing Summer is so boring, I think I sit online and talk to a friend All she wants is a webpage link This boring summer will never end Hey, look, it's my friend from school Oh, he's only playing a game My life is just no longer cool I have no life, what a shame My friends always tell me That we shoud hang out sometime Nothing to do,what could it be? I just stay here and contine to rhyme I wish someone was home To drive me sometime to town That way me and some friends could roam Dance like a fool,look like a clown But there's nothing to do So I'll go hang out in pip Hope I don't step in Javier's poo... I'm the complete opposite. I count down the days till summer so I can get a break from my friends. So I can just sit around the house day after day. (Boring at times- but I still love it.) And someone hide this post form Javier so he doesn't get a bigger head!  Okay-Seriously now... I liked this. The rhyming was nice. It gave it a beat. Great write here. Keep posting.  |

Aw, I know EXACTLY how this feels! I am the exact same way. My brother goes out and has a blast, and always sees me sitting at the computer. He's been telling me for 3 weeks now "I have no life." Haha.. I liked the lines, "I just converse wih a wall/As Toby Keith continues to sing." That was cute.. Nice work, and congrats on 100!! Hehe. Congratulations on the 100th post, Cody.  It's always good to get into the triple digits. When you get to the 1000th, then you know you have been contributing around here.Summer is the best time of the year! The beaches! The guys!! Ahh...the fun one girl can have...*sighs* Ahem...Anyway, just one qualm with your piece. The meter was all out. Maybe a revision of it could improve it just a tad. ~AF~ Never speak disrespectfully of Society. Only people who can't get into it do that. |

Congrats on 100th posts...I am wondering when i will get there as well. Nice poem, but I am there with Spice, I just needed to get away from my friends, that I was the most excited person for summer to be here. But PEOPLE! I still go with my motto- "summer is as fun as YOU make it" and this is something I am living up to very well. But really, it doesnt matter what you do as long as you are having a good time. Even watching the paint peel.... Good poem, the flow was great, and I had to laugh a little at the rhymes, keep it up, and dont worry, school will be here soon *shrill* --Brenton |
