Before I go . . . One last look around The place I call home Before I go . . . One more poem To write from my heart Before I go . . . I say a prayer To the Lord above Before I go . . . One more e-mail To a dear sweet friend Before I go . . . One quick phone call Needs to be made Before I go . . . I admire the flowers My friends sent to me Before I go . . . I tell myself All will be well Before I go . . . I take time to play For a while with the cat Before I go . . . I feel your presence Near to me now Before I go . . . I ask the Lord To lift up my burden Before I go . . . I smile because I know I’ll be back very soon Before I go . . . I feel at peace With my life Before I go . . . I say another prayer For you Before I go . . . Please know You are forgiven All writing comes |

Are you leaving Passions? I'm hoping you're not....but if that is the case, good luck to you and take care. If not, this is a nicely written goodbyeish poem. |

I know that we have all been saying lately these are just words we put here, but I feel as if a part of us all put them here to let people feel what is within us or what could be within us. Jenn, I'll have to say today that these simple words strike a deep message within me no matter the purpose for which they were written. You have done a beautiful job here! |

For whatever reason this poem was written, it is wonderful...you use repetitive phrasing very well...good rhythm and meter. I am glad to have been able to read this. theLadypoet "A woman is like a tea bag, you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water..." Eleanor Rooevelt |

We all seem to have those before I go's. We all need to think on that for we seldom do them. Before we go. Thank you for the great read Mr»ÄlleÿÇät |

Elizabeth: No, I am not leaving Passions. Just something I had on my mind this afternoon I guess. Thank you for the nice reply. Lady In White: Yes, there is much forgiveness in my heart. This IS only a poem. You are very wise. Temptress: This was just something that came to me sitting here earlier. They are just words for the most part. I am glad they strike a message in you. Thanks. Kathleen: Thank you, sweetheart. I knew you would get the meaning of this. You know what? I WILL be just fine. theLadypoet: Thank you very much. I thought it was a good piece which is why I chose to share it. Interloper: A man of few words, I like that. Saunni: No, I am not going anywhere. Just thoughts I was having. MrAlleyCat: You are very right. Youa re welcome for the read. Thanks for stopping by. All writing comes |
