Snow Dragons…part I

The Legend

'Twas a land of fantasy, born from magic and dreams
A place long ago lost in the passages of time
Well after the chosen had blossomed, and withered
Where the mystics counselled and spoke in rhyme

Where snow crowned peaks grew through opaque mist
Reflecting dreams of glory with each new morn'
The wise ones proclaim there lays death's cold kiss
A protected land, to venture there you'd be forlorn

But the legends tell also of a different tale
A sanctuary, filled with riches that would astound
To be claimed by the chosen, just one brave soul
High amongst the icy peaks, waiting to be found

Only the bravest of the brave would venture there
To seek their destiny high above, deep into the unknown
Beyond the forest of souls that echoes a thousand screams
High above where secrets lay encased in arctic stone

"Friends are quiet angels who lift us to our
feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly." ~unknown
