looking at you from afar I'm reminded of all the reasons that I love you the way that you stand, one hand on your hip, when you're not even aware that you do it the way that you tilt your head to one side when I know that you're listening intently the way that your laugh just floats above a room like the softest of melodies the way that your hand brushes through your silky hair when you're embarassed when I tell you just how beautiful you really are the way that your smile speaks volumes and your eyes sparkle in their own unique way, like the rarest of jewels set in the softest alabaster of your skin which is a smooth as the finest porcelain the way that you look up into my own eyes when I tlit your face to meet my own and I can see myself in your eyes like I belong there, like I've always belonged there that's the way. . . ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
