Beautiful Light Show One evening I opened my curtain real wide to explore the beauty of the night when my eyes became focused on a distant yellow light. My mind was busy thinking of the present and the past and I found myself thinking of old friends and lovers some still around and one special one that had passed. The thoughts in my mind proved very intense and I began to cry over a friend and lover that I dearly missed. In the same moment as my sadness and sorrow embraced the beauty of the night my eyes began to focus on a distant yellow light. At first this light was not very bright. It appeared as a dull yellow glow yet as I focused on the texture of this light it began to perform for me in a beautiful light show. In some ways it was similar to a fourth of July fireworks show except it was only yellow and it seemed to be totally under my control.(pretty much) It flowed in perfect unison with the flow of my tears. I controlled the tempo of the show depending on opening my eyes fast or slow. My teary eyes made the light fuzzy and blurry as if I were experiencing a textured snow flurry. The light was throbing as if it were alive creating a beautful explosion of light right before my eyes. Each time I opened my eyes wide and narrowed them again the tears knew precisely when to flow and exactly the moment to end. I watched in fascination as these lights danced to the beat of my teary eyes. The show was simply beautiful and inorder to prolong the show I dared not dry my eyes. Twas only that one enchanting evening and precisely I know not why yet on that particular evening it was truly a blessing for me to cry. Jameslee@June02,2001 |
