I've been ready and can hardly wait June 1st is tomorrow oh how great Got up this morning all ready for summer Didn't look too promising- cloudy- a bummer All of May has been rain- over 10 inches Cold, wind, clouds. Flowers and plants nonexistant Well, today was supposed to be different I had plans that couldn't be bent Got dressed grabbed a jacket just in case Going to town about 25 miles away- make haste A few sprinkles, well really just a mist Had to turn the lights on, want to be missed At the first stop no jacket but comfort was not Felt warm inside and I'm liking it a lot Back outside and the wind is picking up Heavier rain and I look like a drowned pup Another stop and the jacket this time This isn't summer, I've lost my mind Came out of the store, got the shock of my life I could see my breath, that can't be right My teeth do chatter, my clothes are all wet The heater full blast, fake summer, you bet First day of June and it is 49 degrees Rain, wind, mist, It'll get better--PLEASE |

Personally I will take the cool as long as it lasts, for the dog days are on their way. Where one prespires in mere breathing. Of all people you know that. I have a friend who once said-"Sooner or later, Death makes a believer out of just about everyone." |

Oh boy! Yesterday we had shorts on here, and today I have the fireplace going, go figure! I am with you, I would rather strip than have my teeth chattering. I sure liked this one! ~*~ Remember to tell someone today that you love them ~*~ |

The weather this year is so mixed up. It's hot where I am but last week we had a cold front blow in. Strange things are happening, hope it doesn't mean a HURRICANE will come a calling this year. |

Death, I don't mind cool, but see my breath....no way!! Mysteria, Christmas in June this year. inot2B, we keep getting caught in one LOW after another. Let's hope the hurricanes forget TX this year. |
