No rainbow tears,
no dew drops kiss,
no feather touch,
no blissful bliss,
all daffodil
has long since died,
no rippled pond
to still my mind.

another sun
another day
another wish--
myself away...
no pistol pointed
to my head--
no point--
I am already dead.

Well now that was a depressingly beautiful poem!  No shooting Celeste everyone needs your poetry to speak out!   I'm in awe of how such dark things can be so beautiful!  This is a good one!

I wanted to thank everyone, but was dismayed too, at how many could relate...to me this was a challenge to describe the nothingness feeling of depression...Marge? no russian roulette for me--I DON'T BACK DOWN. With smiles and hugs to all---I'm fine...and have every intention to do better!   Love, smiles and hugs for all!

Came back to say to Doreen? THAT has got to be the best all time reply....and any others willing?... ALL DONATIONS OF LOVE ACCEPTED!!!!

err, ahh, Serenity?  Yanno, I've got this little necrophilia obsession, and I was wondering if... oh, never mind... it was just some wishful thinking anyway - lol.

Quite a punch in this poem.

Taking up the challenge to match Doreens answer. Hey, I love you lots!
As for this poem, I absolutely felt this way, for about a week last October. Now the pain passed but the rest of it is still there.  You perfectly described the black hole. And I have read happy poems from you, so I know this is not your only side.
Peace
