Listening to every heart

Captivating Music

captive
the music swelled
as fingers dipped in milk
black to white’s full orchestration
met me and thee in express symphony
grand piano which seized the keys
black & white would greet we
in this spell, held
captive
bass black I wore
swerved in music’s own chord
sway of hip met greet of eyes’ groan
click of heels’ intent, low one’s heart did moan
sweet a dream to meet in music
dark met day in sun’s light
in this spell, held
captive

Wow!  What a soothing melody.  This is breath taking.  I had to read a few times.  One of my favorites.  Thank you for the read!

Marvelous write Karilea!  The format is a real eye catcher too!    What type of black is this?

"bass black I wore."

Sunshine,

I think this is the poem that has been calling to me in the archives tonight.  I am gonna leave with this one tucked under my arm.  I am keeping it - so there!

Love you,
Alison
