Never peeled it, but picked it up and we wrote on it, brought back memories Mabe of writing poetry as a kid on pieces of poplar bark down by the river in Winnipeg. I called my friend right after reading this to remind her of it and say hello! Thanks for a beautiful haiku and an absolutely wonderful memory. |
