When you see me, why does your heart beat in fear. This isn't war paint just the colour of my skin. Why must you scurry and hide When I un noticing stand by your side. You could resist, I believe when you see me glisten in the summer heat Shoulders held back, proud Shaven head unbowed. Why do your eyes seek mine then dart to one side when they find I have eyes too. lips, mouth, frown or smile just like you do. I get on one lift, you wait for the next one. I offer you a seat, you say you don't want one. I smile at you, you bow your head and run. What do I have to do. to finally get through to you. I DON'T WANT YOU, Consumed by the fear I do. if it is true that the world talks toomuch then let us all keep quiet and hear the eloquence of silence - Richard Ntiru [This message has been edited by Mendy (edited 05-31-2001).] |

Aw he's just shy, but he really likes you a lot and you were able to capture that idea with your words. I enjoyed! |
