join the night walk with me see your world in shadow light why not prefer the night to live in shadows eye as all things end in Dirge of Dreams for darkness softens sight no sun to blaze way through fog beliefs to stand twixt mirror and thy and I prefer shadows seek not sustenance fluid servants live emulating your dreams of yesterday intangible in day real in dreams of night why not join the night walk with me see your world in shadow light I have a friend who once said-"Sooner or later, Death makes a believer out of just about everyone." |

"join the night"... "for darkness softens sight" I tend to be more a nocturnal creature than a daytime one...so this poem appeals to me. Well written. Poeminister |

Hi! do you prefer simply "Death" or "Mr. Death"? nice, and in the shape most think of you (look at the shape, it's like a hooded figure). me, i want to meet the friend...tom |

Thank you all for your words so very kind. And simply Death will do. And I rarely wear black. Odd that such images still are sustained born of a different age, of different plagues. And the friend will be informed of your wishes. I have a friend who once said-"Sooner or later, Death makes a believer out of just about everyone." |
