Come the shadows of the night,
in somber stealth of evening's creeping,
Ebon void of dark's affright,
harbinger of sorrow's weeping,
Lo', darkness doth the light enslave,
as coffin lay in moonless grave,
Luna cloaked, face unrevealed,
when from afar, a lone bell pealed,
Upon the night, fell cold wind's breath,
amid the tolling; bell of death.

This is very realistic.
You've captured a vivid musing.
Quite apropos as we pause to remember those who fell in the wars.

Mike this style is great, especially when you do it. I think this should be reposted around halloween! Perfect dark thoughts creeping about.

What a painter you are...chilling but awesome Mr. Mike! I'm envious in the midst of writer's block here...sigh...so? I study my faves while I wait for for my muse to jab at me with that sharpened quill!
