The World Aint Over Yet

Liers,thieves,hypocrites
lawyers,cons,deficeits
politicians,congressmen,presidents
an the world aint over yet
better find something to believe in
give it your best
put yourself to the test
cuz the world aint over yet
the I.R.S an Uncle Sam
unforgiveable acts of
the Klu,Klux,Klan
kids in gangs
trying to rule the land
an we're still making guns
an putting them in thier hands
when they have easy access to them
this I just dont understand
unreasonable people
doing unbelievable things
we keep buying all these weapons
so that we're massively armed for war
when we should be using this money
to help the homeless an poor
cuz there are so many people struggling
all over this world
this is the kind of **** i can't forget
this is the kind of **** i can't take no more
an the world aint over yet
better find something to believe in
give it your best
live your life to the fullest
cuz the world aint over yet

Love all the thoughts in this one. Thought provoking review of life!   I really enjoyed the common sense value in this piece!

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie
