You Asked For Nothing (Sven’s Cliché Challenge) You asked me for nothing saying smile and have fun And suddenly my life has been bathed in your sun You say then let me be your shelter from the storm The light within your dark your bright new dawn You give me your strength of spirit to rise again Offering me salvation without thought of your gain You asked for nothing, in return you offer me you You are a gift, with you I’ll come shining through You asked me for nothing not one little request You kept on going on never stopping for a rest My world has changed so little but when I see me I see the changes made I’ve been given such beauty You say that I'm special and you’re willing to wait You tell me you’re patient and that you’re my fate You asked for nothing and you give me much more You are a gift and with your help I can now soar You asked me for nothing so I offer myself to you In giving yourself freely I know you are always true I have nothing to offer but my rather battered heart I give it to you for its time for the healing to start You say that you won’t push me or ask for anything And I can tell you now I have a new song to sing You asked for nothing just waited for me to see You are a gift and and now you've given me back me Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim |

Marsha, how wonderful to be given yourself back to you. Sometimes we "need permission" in a way. May your heart heal and be better than ever. Love and hugs, ME |

I give it to you for its time for the healing to start You say that you won’t push me or ask for anything And I can tell you now I have a new song to sing You asked for nothing just waited for me to see You are a gift and and now you've given me back me beautiful words. My so dear friends ythis poem in a way is a refelection of how you all have watched me come through the rain. I thank you so much for your spirits which light the night, for your souls which shine forth bright for the sound of laughter you give me for the chance you gave me to fly free for the words of beauty that grace here for your ability to send back dark fear for the touch of friendship you gift me for this and all your precious poetry Love as always Mushy xxxxx Take back the hope you gave,- I claim |
