Upon My Heart

My thoughts lay heavily,
as shadows cast upon the wall,
and I, becoming accustomed to the stare
of memory, am touched, in the candlelight
of your eye kisses, falling upon my heart.
I dance to the flickering motions,
knowing you view each breath I sigh.

Your evening climb, to reach me
through my nakedthoughts,
penetrates the fragments of rhyme,
and I verse my heart in words of yours
to submerge me into the deep,
drifting into another dimension of time,
'til next we meet.
