So sad
This life I’ve had

Nothing in the world
Ever makes me feel alive
Too bad

This life I’ve had

Reach out
Open my mouth to shout
You used to be there
To help me rise above this
Left out
Now I’m without
You used to be
Another part of me
Now you stand apart
And shiver from what I’ve become
Turning from me
What is this thing happening to me?
I used to be Heaven sent
You gave me voice to vent
I never gave in
To someone else’s sin
But I won’t repent
Until I’ve fallen, spent

Discontent
With where my life went

My downward descent
