My heart is soft not made of stone
it hurts real bad when i'm all alone
It aches all night, it bleeds all day
Especially now you've gone away

So keep in touch when you have time
just a note or word to say that you're still mine
Then my bleeding heart will stop the flow
When it realises that you wont go

Not too much to ask for is a few words from you
to turn my heart back from blue
Then I will know, my feelings won't slide
as you stand with me right by my side

Love is fair it holds no scores
Its love that breaks down all the doors
To a world of fun, a world free of rain
and most of all, a world free of pain.
