When first I came looking through a search of self having taken me off the shelf glassed container that held me in breaking to pieces misery’s sin no more shall I be contained but stream forth in great refrain came to find a piece of mind saw titles of hope and despair saw threads of cope and care saw many unwind thoughts that bind and castles in the air as so much love was left behind how to write from night to day know what will be read, what to say how to keep myself afloat without paddle, much less boat but hadn’t all been said before? what I could bring for your explore? for some of this penning, cathartic, true yet some is for the heart of you some is but a wish on wind some allows me to seek and find, again some is but hope in black and white while release of all gets me through the night when first I came and didn’t know expectations from this have come to glow for I might read, or write, a nickel’s flip but inside these blues I’ve found a grip imaginations of poetic minds and in all of this, I’ve lost my blind [This message has been edited by Decaflame (edited 07-10-2001).] |

REally like this one, it speaks with so much heart! I do wish to be certain you want, in the second stanza, the word piece and not peace. Each would work but say entirely different things, of course. The context around it makes me think you meant 'peace.' |

Virginia, please read my Constructive Critiques message. All is possible. Use it as you will...let others do the same. I play on words...yet, with meaning, hopefully to allow others to stretch....and think. I am trying to write "outside the box"... Thank you for your kind response. |

DecaFlame~ Oh ... just how wonderful is this ? 'came to find a piece of mind saw titles of hope and despair saw threads of cope and care saw many unwind thoughts that bind and castles in the air as so much love was left behind' And many pieces of mind are here, aren't they ? WONDERFUL ! ! *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

There is a lot of feeling in this one, even anger and frustration. It's well penned and I like this one much. Michael Michael Auguste~ |
