The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2001-07-09 08:13 AM

Alas sweet love may play you fool
and leave you doubting what's ahead
a righteous love can turn to cruel
such that you wonder if you're dead.

Such change abrupt can stagger some
to fall upon an earthly pile
if left alone, their life is done
just draining out in bits of while.

Solution lies in caring voice
in friends of heart you may not know
those angels that do have the choice
yet choose to never let you go.

How many sinking times have come
throughout the years of sorrow blue
still help arrives in form of some
a stranger, still a friend of true.

May God or Goddess bless you all
for taking time to care and see
because of you, I can stand tall
and gather up what's left of me.

Sweet, flowing, and touching.  I feel the same, and you have expressed this feeling very nicely.  Thank God for the people who choose a "path of light" and help others find it for themselves...

Sandra,
I can relate to this only too well.  You will always have the love of angels to comfort you, and be there in the good and bad... Love you, my friend...
