Language insufficient to plumb the depths of God
To speak of wondrous heaven where angel steps have trod
Manifold experiences beyond this earthly sod
Show language insufficient to explain the depths of God

Our human emotions backed by time and tides
Explore the depths and wonders of our earthly sides
Here beyond the pale, a new creation bides
No words have we to describe, God's everlasting ides

Restricted by humanness, tied here to this earth
Our language insufficient to tell of death of birth
There is much more to this, than compassed by worlds girth
But language insufficient, won't reveal or give due worth

Sometimes we get an inkling, of God's almighty plan
It's at those times words fail us, we can't take in the span
To stand in awe and wonder that makes us more the man
As language insufficient, leads to worship of the lamb

Battling through religion's, constraining bonds to sing
With language insufficient for the knowledge that we bring
One day when our time has passed and we stand before the king
Our language insufficiency will not mean a thing

Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life.  Patty Hansen.

Keth...came back looking for this, as the first time I read it? Language was indeed insufficient for reply! You managed to find sufficent language to explain why the inexplicable is inexplicable...(I know..sometimes I give MYSELF headaches...lol)Wonderful job with this, WELL DONE!!!!

remember that our language is only insufficient to explain our thoughts and feelings to one  another... God understands, merely from our attempt.
as is so often true of your work, this is profound and beautiful.
