Between the Lines

A light within our hearts,
a smile upon our face.
The truth in treasured hold
You Are, we have been graced.

A pen's been laid to rest
but words are journeyed here.
Your gift to all, of poetry.
We shed, this day, a tear.

Inspired we have been,
as friends, you've made us feel.
You are the heart of "passion"
whose purpose was in real...

You will live on through words,
be read, enjoyed each time,
by all of us who will recall
the ease of you, in rhyme.
