And God will send his Angels...  Have you ever met a person who comes into your life And fills you up with wonder, takes away your times of strife Someone who has humor and laughs away life's ills Someone who can help you stand, picks you up after the spills A loving, living person who takes a hold on strength Whose passion and whose purpose will always go the length A man who is so gentle, who opens up the door A man who stands with courage against the chills of life and more This man whom I call Wilfred whom other's have called Bill Has warmed my heart completely, he took away my chill I didn't see him often, but we were always friends Sometime we would discuss, beginnings also ends He gave to me his humor, his vision upon life We sometimes spoke of children, my family and his wife I know that's he's a battler, but in his time of need All I can think to offer is goodbye my friend Godspeed Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. This was a beautifully expressed tribute Yes I have also known Bill as the sweet, caring friend for over 3 years and he was always full of caring words and encouragement . so my thoughts and prayers and with him now Hope |

Besides being an exceptional poet, Bill had this gift for making you feel special and accepted for who you were... He always took the time, often when weak and sick to send a note and encourage.
