The scaring young man as the flying crapeze
abused, felt abandon by God,
thus forged a new he (though this not done with ease)
construes to be stiff as a rod.

So arrogantly in a life that's unflexed
he demands needed air come to him,
as one would expect his true soul disconnects,
but please know this not done on a whim.

Physically slight he soon changed it to might
sucking strength from aggressor's blows,
from soft daylight he would hammer hard night
in life's length he'd as iceman froze.

Committed to rigid his countenance frigid
he intended that pain would abate,
such unyielding's rife for a life that's abridg'ed
he had turned into that which he'd hate.

Where's the young boy with the song in his heart?
Who's the toughguy who mirrors him a scowl?
how'd he destroy, what went wrong at the start?
now he cries for a life disemboweled.

Darkly interesting.

By the way,  whatever happened to "the police state?"

Refer to your last poem...
"Limbo and Purgatory" for answer to these questions.  Ahh...but you are in fine shape this morning Sir Richard!

If I made you smile today then I did my job!
